The Ladybug Music Festival
Live music streamed from store fronts and restaurants in Wilmington’s Lower Market neighborhood on Friday at a free block party. The Market Street block party between 2nd and 3rd streets included some 20 regional female musicians, “Ladybug” cocktail specials, and tasty food offerings from restaurants that line the newly-transformed city block. Gable Music Ventures planned the festival and music showcase, offering fare from Zaikka Indian Grill, Extreme Pizza and LOMA Coffee. Market Street retailers Film Brothers Co-Op and Dimensions & Co. by Ace also showcased musicians while offering specials and sales.
