DE-feet Breast Cancer 5K
The weather on Sunday, May 20th wasn’t ideal for a day on the beach, but spirits were high at the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth for the Third Annual DE-feet Breast Cancer 5K benefitting the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Participants warmed up to music and a survivor celebration before taking to the trail. Over 1,200 participants donned shades of pink as they walked or ran to raise over $55,000 for local breast cancer programs. The money will be used to increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.
