Renovations Underway at Buckley’s Tavern

A recent walk-through of Buckley’s Tavern in Centreville showed the extent of renovations underway at the historic site.  Co-owners Bob Bolling and Bob Applegate say that structural changes are being made to modernize and enhance the facility while retaining the special charm generations of the tavern’s fans came to cherish through the years.  The owners expect to have more news soon about a new operator/management team as well as details on timing for the restaurant’s re-opening.

      Our Buckley’s Striders weekly runs still start from the parking lot every Saturday, and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished renovations!

        There is a Buckley’s Tavern FB page with pictures of the renovations and updates on the progress.  It sounds like it will be reopening in October!
